For the blueberry sauce:
- 4 cups frozen blueberries
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
For the arrowroot slurry:
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder 2 T. for a thicker sauce
- 1/4 cup cold water
•For a thicker sauce (great for cheesecake), use 2 tablespoons arrowroot powder
•Sauce thickens more as it cools
•Mash blueberries for smoother texture or leave chunky
•Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.
Reheat gently on the stovetop or microwave.
Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
